Bowflex Ultimate

The Ultimate Guide to the Bowflex Ultimate

The Bowflex Ultimate is the covering name for four different Bowflex Home Gyms. One of those four is named the Bowflex Ultimate, the others are named the Bowflex Ultimate XTU, the Bowflex Ultimate XLU and the Bowflex Ultimate XTLU. This last one i am going to review later but first let me tell a little bit about the other Bowflex Ultimate Home Gyms and it's history. Bowflex is a brandname used by the company Nautulis Inc. Nautilis Inc. is one of the world leaders in manufacturing fitness equipment, specializd in home gyms. Bowflex is their main brand an that is probably also the reason that they have the biggest line of products on their name. Nautulis and Bowflex manufactured the Bowflex Ultimate 2 recently and that became one of their best selling product. The Bowflex Ultimate Gym is a quality home gym and all the four versions come with a ten year warranty. All four versions have standard a 310 lbs. Power Rod Resistance.
Bowflex Ultimate Home Gym
Which Bowflex Ultimate to choose?

The Bowflex Ultimate is the home gym with the least options of the four. It is also the cheapest one. It does not have a lat pull down station and it's missing the leg extension/ leg curl attachment. It is a simple home gym for beginners. In my opinion a beginner can better buy a home gym wit more options. You will get more exercises and fun for your money.
Bowflex Ultimate XTU

The Bowflex Ultimate XTU has a couple of more option and is slightly better then the Bowflex Ultimate. It does have the leg extension/ leg curl attachment and you can do more exercises on the Bowflex Ultimate XTU. This home gym from Bowflex still is missing the lat pull down attachment so you can not train your lats (upper back). An option for people who like the high quality of Bowflex but not have the money to buy the more expensive home gyms is to buy the missing attachment seperately. It could save you a lot of money and you can perform
a lot more exercises and improve your strength.
Bowflex Ultimate XLU

The third BowFlex home gym is the Bowflex Ultimate XLU, the XLU is the smaller brother of the Bowflex Ultimate XTLU and is just above the price range of the Bowflech Ultimate XTU. With 85 exercises it has a nice number of exercises available. With it's 6'11" height by 5'10" length and 4'2" width the Bowflex Ultimate XTU is a nice compact home gym.
Bowflex Ultimate XTLU

Last but not least is the Bowflex Ultimate XTLU. Because this is the home gym i think people enjoy the most i review it here. This home gym is perfect for beginners and experts. If you are serious about training your strength and getting in shape you must buy this overcomplete home gym. The Bowflex Ultimate XTLU is the ultimate home gym for incredible leg, ab and upper body workouts. It has integrated wheels so when you are finished with your workout you can roll it away.

Bowflex Ultimate XTLU Features:
One of the features that make the Bowflex Ultimate XTLU a complete home gym is the built in rowing machine. With this machine you can warm up before a workout or cool down after wards, it's also pretty good for calorie burning. The T bar adds intensity to your rowing work out. The standard 310 pounds of power rod resistance makes this home gym more upgraded then it's predecessor the Bowflex Xtreme. You are able to built back and shoulder muscles with the integrated lat tower. Use the leg extension to built strong legs. The Leg press belt is just as the leg curl attachment perfect to get your legs in shape. The 5-way hand grip/ankle grips makes your workout a lot easier.
