Tina O’Brien Talks About Effective Weight Loss Program

Lose weight with Tina O’Brien
While many celebrity moms snap back into their pre-pregnancy jeans in record speed by means of undergoing a weight loss program consisting of a weight loss diet plan and fitness exercise program, not all will admit to having had weight loss help to lose weight they put on during their pregnancy.
Tina O’Brien is another one of those celebrities that bucks that rapid weight loss trend in a new interview with UK OK!, however as she admits to that it took a year to lose weight after giving birth to her child. The ‘Coronation Street’ actress – who played Sarah-Louise Platt in the soap – put on 42lbs during her pregnancy and admits she struggled with weight loss after giving birth to daughter Scarlett.
She said: “It serves me right because I thought, ‘I’m naturally slim – I will naturally lose weight without the need to transform my diet plan or do any fitness exercise program!’ But it really didn’t!”
But even though she admits to struggling with weight loss, she didn’t let it stop her from achieving her weight loss goal. As weight loss help, she started her fitness exercise program with a personal fitness trainer last spring, a fitness exercise program she did for about six weeks. She has only just gotten her size eight figure back. She credits her weight loss to a “fantastic” fitness trainer named Paul.

“At first, the last thing I wanted to do was do any fitness exercise program or weight loss diet plan to lose weight, and with Christmas coming up I could have happily just sat and slobbed out,” she admits. “But I met Paul and he really got me geared up with my fitness exercise program and weight loss plan.”
She told Closer magazine: “When I first had Scarlet I did absolutely nothing. I didn’t want to be doing any kind of fitness exercise program like running round the block with a week-old baby!”
Noting that “it’s not easy to lose weight on your own, especially in winter” the 25-year-old Coronation Street star admits that after welcoming daughter Scarlett Jacqueline, 4 ½-months, she felt “frumpy.”
“Your life becomes totally devoted to your child, which is amazing feeling, but because of that you end up sitting in your slobs covered in sick instead of getting on with your fitness exercise program.”

Her fitness trainer Paul got her into a fitness exercise program which they did about three times a week: cardio exercise by boxing and going for runs. I didn’t lose weight much but I really toned up,” she says of the fitness exercise program and weight loss plan she had undergone with her fitness trainer.
In an interview with Star magazine, the actress admitted that her initial weight loss however can be credited to lack of sleep because she had to take care of her new baby. Breastfeeding also helped her lose weight. But there was one problem, weight loss wasn’t as easy to solve.
But now, even after her fitness training exercise program with fitness trainer Paul has ended,  the actress has begun to engage in her fitness exercise program and weight loss plan on her own.
“I have a friend who works at a gym who devised a bit of a fitness exercise program for me. I do running for cardio exercise, which I actually really enjoy. I put my iPod on and go for a 30-minute run. He also has me doing fitness exercises on my arms and legs. At first, I was like: ‘What’s the point in these?’ but I’ve really noticed that my arms are starting to get toned. My main concern is my stomach because when I was pregnant my stomach muscles split so I’m trying to get them to come back together.”
Tina O’Brien’s Diet Plan
So what’s her healthy weight loss diet plan like you ask?
“In the morning, my weight loss diet plan consists of me eating porridge with honey and raisins. Then for lunch, my diet plan consists of ham and salad sandwich or a jacket potato with cheese and beans. My diet plan for dinner at the moment would be steak or fish with vegetables. I’m eating a lot healthier than I was.”
On the pressure put on by the media on celebrity women turned mothers to achieve a rapid weight loss, she said she wasn’t going to give in to the pressure and starve herself just to lose weight.
“I think trends like mummy tucks are so wrong.” Tina tries to eat three sensible meals a day in her diet plan instead.
